The survey was meant to raise awareness about the significance of proper driving instructions in the maintenance of road safety. Robinson said that although this study was done in a manner that was light-hearted, it was meant to help people realize the importance of a good driving instructor.

Kylie Minogue took the number two spot, while Jo Brand, Sharon Osborne, Barbara Windsor and Jordan were 3rd to 6th respectively. While Minogue was the choice of male drivers aged between 25 to 45 years old, Osborne was the favorite among those who are aged 17-24.
Meanwhile, Clooney, who was the top choice among women aged 55 years old and under, was followed by Richard Branson, Trevor Macdonald, Shane Richie, Peter Kay and Simon Cowell, in the order of their rankings. Macdonald was the most preferred instructor among women who belong to the 55 and above age group.
